Today on the occasions of 5th August “Ek Bharat, Ekatam Bharat” programme held at ward number 41 organized by BJP senior leader and ward Councillor Sanjay Baru. On the occasion chief guest of the program J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Kaul hoisted the flag along with BJP District President Manish khajuriya, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Mandal president Keshav Chopra, BJP Add. Publicity Secretary Ayodhya Gupta JMC Councillors Neelam Nargotra, Sat Pal Karlupia, BJP ward president Ashok Singh Wazir, POJK leader Labha Ram Gandhi and other BJP leaders were also present on the occasion.
Chief guest on the occasion Ashok Kaul and other leaders also distributed Domicile Certificates to the PoJK refugees who were denied the main facilities from last 70 years with the help of Tehsildar Jammu West Rajesh Kumar .
Speaking on the occasion Ashok Kaul said that Articles 370 and 35a were the main reason behind the discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh regions. He said these Articles promoted militancy and anti national activities in the state from so many years. He congratulated people across the line specially the resident of J&K and Ladakh. Further he stated that from the last one year a new development era has been started in the state and proposals of so many new development projects are in pipeline. He also condemned the attacks on BJP leaders in Kashmir valley and said that our security forces are doing a tremendous job in the valley resulting in frustration of terrorists and anti-nationals.
Sanjay Kumar Baru said that with the abrogations of the controversial Articles a new bonding between the people have begun, and the new age of development has set in.
He stressed that this day is like real Independence Day and Deepawali for the whole of Jammu & Kashmir and asked all to celebrate the occasion with enthusiasm.
