Kishtwar May 12
After the devastating fire incident took place in the great religious Madrasa Siraj Ul Uloom at Chatroo Tehsil of Kishtwar, donations for the reconstruction of the madarsa took place in the Jama Masjid of Chatroo.
Vice Chairman DPAP Ghulam Muhammad Saroori appealed everyone to donate generously for the reconstruction of the Madrasa. He explained the significance of donating in a Madarsa as it’s a good deed and for the betterment of the future generations.
Saroori also encouraged everyone during the collection of the donation, around Rs. 40 lakhs was collected on the occasion of Friday prayers.
He also requested the young people to help in cleaning the area of incident so that the reconstruction would be easier for the architects as the services of expert architects will be hired for the construction of this Madrasa and architects from Kashmir will come very soon and a map will be prepared by them.
He also said that the estimated budget of this project is around 5-10 crores. He also added that it won’t be difficult if everyone will participate passionately in the donations.
The Imam of Jamia Masjid Chatroo also appealed to the people to come forward to donate more so that the construction of the Madrasa can be done as soon as possible.
It was decided during the deliberations in the Jama Masjid on the eve of Nimaz-e-Jumma that the re-reconstruction would be done in a modern way to avoid such incidents in future. Hopefully all the people present at the Jama Masjid showed their generosity by offering generous donations.
