The members of Thathri Development Front, District Doda in a press release issued here have appealed the general masses not to get misled by the Political Parties who have lost their ground and now are trying to regain it by playing politics over the Art. 370 & 35-A. They said that no Hindu, Muslim, Bodh, Sikh & Christian is safe in this corrupt & caste based political system & it is the prime duty of every responsible citizen of the state to work unitedly irrespective of caste, colour or creed & region or religion to expose all the traditional political parties who are responsible of unrest in the state. They said that they are not saviour of democratic Institutions or Art.370 or 35-A, but are the real killers of these Institutions & they have simply exploited the sentiments of people in the garb of Art. 370 & 35-A to enhance their political interests. The real beneficiaries are only few Political families, politicians & bureaucrats. Why no implementation of constitutional amendment no 73 & 74 to empower the Panchyati Raj Institutions in the interest of the poor people of the state? Why six years term for Assembly in the State contrary to other states in the country? Is it not the misuse of article 370 they questioned? We have to discard all these spent forces in whatever colour they come before the masses, they said.
They have further expressed deep concern over the loss of precious lives of the poor people of Kashmir & our own security personnel in all these unfortunate incidents due to wrong & appeasement polices of the successive governments for their personal interests. The main reason behind this unrest in the valley is that the qualified poor youth of the valley in particular have always been ignored by the corrupt successive state governments and these governments have bitterly failed to address their grievances and taking action for providing them lively hood. These un-employed qualified youth having no means of lively hood prompted themselves to choose the alternative way for earning their lively hood by indulging themselves to stone pelting as these youth are being paid a handsome amount for stone pelting by the vested interests active in the valley. All tradition political parties since independence till date followed the same policy of divide & rule; which the Britishers had adopted for the Indian to befool. “The Real face of NC & PDP after boycotting ULB & Panchayat polls , they contested Lok Sabha elections & the 82 % of the voters of Kashmir valley have out-rightly rejected NC & PDP in the recently held Lok Sabha elections and now they are playing politics over the Art. 370 & 35-A.
Congress, NC & PDP are responsible of the abrogation of Art.370 & 35-A because they have always misused Art. 370 for their personal interests & not for the common people of Kashmir, Jammu or Ladakh. In J&K employment is only for the wards & relatives of politicians not for the wards of poor people of Kashmir, Ladhak or Jammu Divisions.
The members of Thathri Development Front, District Doda have welcomed the historical decision of Modi Government for the abrogation of Art. 370 & 35-A as it is the need of the hour for peace in the state, national security & integration & also for the equitable development of all the three regions of the state irrespective of religion or region.
