Delhi Public School (DPS) Kathua, in collaboration with “Fold Five Services,” proudly organized the “Educational Stride 2024,” an enriching career guidance event that brought together Class XII students from DPS Kathua and neighboring schools. The primary objective of this event was to bridge the gap between students and higher education institutions, providing them with a clear understanding of future academic and career opportunities.The event saw participation from a remarkable lineup of 16 elite universities, including six international institutions, making it an invaluable platform for students to explore a broad range of academic paths. Among the participating Indian universities were prestigious names like Shoolini University, Manav Rachna University, Chitkara University, Bennett University, Symbiosis International University, and O.P. Jindal Global University. These universities presented diverse academic programs ranging from engineering and management to law and media studies, encouraging students to look beyond conventional career paths and aim for a future aligned with their interests.The event also attracted global attention with participation from six prominent international institutions, including British Columbia Hotel Management, known for its world-class hospitality courses. Specialized institutions like Edko Bake and Culinary Arts, World University of Design, Design Management, and Ecole Intute Lab were also present, showcasing unique programs in fields such as culinary arts, design, and hospitality. Their presence demonstrated a growing interest among students in niche and creative industries.In addition to DPS Kathua students, participants from other reputed institutions, including Mount Litera Zee School and Kartar Public School, also attended. This collaboration between schools strengthened the overall impact of the event, as students engaged with representatives from various universities to explore potential career pathways. The students were enthusiastic and eager to gather insights into higher education, particularly in emerging fields and international opportunities. Principal of DPS Kathua, Mr. Vivek Arora, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all participating institutions and lauded Ms. Vishakha from Shoolini University for her pivotal role in collaborating with Fold Five Services to create this elite educational platform. In his address, Mr. Arora emphasized the importance of providing students with comprehensive career guidance and access to institutions that could help shape their academic futures. He stated, “In today’s fast-changing world, it is essential to empower students with knowledge and options. ‘Educational Stride 2024’ has successfully achieved that by connecting them to leading universities both within India and internationally.”The event was seamlessly coordinated by Chief Coordinator Ms. Rimjim Wazir and Senior Coordinator Ms. Tejinder Kaur, whose enthusiasm and efforts made the day an unforgettable experience for the attendees.
