Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Union Ministry of Minority Affairs and State Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today called on the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at his office at New Delhi. Dr Andrabi apprised the Prime Minister of the current political situation in Jammu & Kashmir and presented her feedback on the implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes in different areas of the state.
Dr Andrabi also presented her views on the present security situation in J&K. She thanked the Prime Minister for his mega economic package for the state of J&K and Centre’s interest in the economic and infrastructural development of the state. Prime Minister told Dr Darakhshan that the central government was committed to ensure the proper implementation of the central packages at the ground level in J&K so that the impact of the development initiatives reaches to the last person in the state.
