Dr Devansh Yadav visits Sanjay Nagar to takes stock of civic amenities

Commissioner of JMC, Dr. Devansh Yadav visited Sanjay Nagar Ward no. 46 today to review grievances related to civic amenities reported through various portals. During his visit, he inspected several lanes to assess the issues and the actions taken by relevant departments.
Dr. Yadav assured locals that proposals for enhancing civic facilities are underway. He emphasized prioritizing urgent issues such as nallah fencing, drainage improvements, lighting, and cleanliness.
He also urged stakeholders to use dedicated garbage collection vehicles and announced an increase in their frequency. To prevent garbage dumping in nallahs, he promised that all nallahs would be fenced.
Addressing the rise in dengue cases, Dr. Yadav urged residents to eliminate standing water around their homes to prevent mosquito breeding.
He also called for public cooperation in implementing a new action plan designed to tackle waterlogging in low-lying areas.
The locals also flagged various issues for which the Commissioner assured them that the issues of urgent nature would be resolved on priority.
Among others, Joint Commissioner, Works, Firdous Ahmad Qazi, Deputy Commissioner, South, Lal Chand, Jammu Municipal Corporation , Health Officer Dr. Vinod Sharma, besides various other senior officers of various wings of JMC accompanied the Commissioner during the tour.
