Dr Rajeev Bhagat Leads Tractor Rally, Welcomes Leaders to BJP at Diwali Milan

Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, MLA Bishnah and a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, showcased a significant display of political power and public goodwill today. The MLA first led a massive Tractor Rally through the constituency, which was immediately followed by a high-profile Diwali Milan program at Pindi Charkan, where a large number of opposition figures formally joined the BJP.The day’s events underscored a successful political outreach aimed at consolidating the party’s strength in the rural belt of the Jammu region.
The mobilization began with an impressive Tractor Rally that travelled from Joian to Pindi Charkan. The procession saw thousands of eager people participating, alongside a robust convoy of more than 100 Tractors, symbolizing the unwavering support of the farming community. The massive turnout served as a powerful testament to the MLA’s connection with the grassroots and the widespread acceptance of the party’s development agenda.The rally was marked by enthusiasm and traditional fanfare, with local residents lining the route to greet the procession.
The momentum of the rally continued at the Diwali Milan program organized in Pindi Charkan. While the event offered a platform to exchange festive greetings, its political significance was amplified by the formal joining of several prominent personalities from different political parties into the BJP fold. Dr. Bhagat personally welcomed the new entrants, including Jeet Raj Choudhry, Shubham Sharma, Uttam Lal, Sukhdev Shoudhary, Tarsem Lal, Romi Choudhary, Sunny Kumar, Biku Choudhary, Bajan Lal, Bachana Lal, Kuldeep Raj (former Naib Sarpanch of Pindi), Balbir Singh Bittu (former Panch), Jeet Raj, Pawan Choudhary, and Naresh Kumar, among several others. This mass joining is seen as a significant boost for the BJP’s organizational structure in the Bishnah area, signalling a decisive shift in local political allegiances towards the ruling party. The successful day was supported by the attendance of key party functionaries and local leaders. Prominent figures present throughout the rally and the Diwali Milan included Shri Rinku Choudhary, District President, alongside General Secretaries Ashok Virdhi and Supinder Sharma.
Also in attendance were respected community elders and former public representatives like Kuldeep Raj (former Sarpanch), Subash (former Sarpanch), Sonu (former Naib Sarpanch), senior leaders Bobby Chouhan and Lal Chand, Capt. Bodh Raj, Suresh, and Arjun Singh. Their presence reaffirmed the local leadership’s unified commitment to Dr. Bhagat and the party’s objectives, setting a strong political tone ahead of future electoral challenges.
