The National Incredible Literacy Mission J&K conducted a Drug abuse awareness programme in collaboration of Directorate of School Education Jammu and Government of Jammu and Kashmir Ut . Involving hundreds of school students of Springdales School Rajouri Line Akhnoor Road ,Jammu .
Here to create awareness on drug and substance abuse and its negative fallout on the individual .The program was conducted in the school premises . According to NILM Chairman Thakur K.D. Kurhan , the aim of the programme is to empower students to say no to drugs and create awareness of substance abuse by helping them channel their energies into creative pursuits. NILM staff members who deliver lecture during program included R S Thakur, Kiran Sharma , Tania Dogra and Pooja Sahu.
Here Archana Jandev Manhas Principal of the said school gave a impressive lecture on the Drug abuse . Principal of the school also appreciated the role of NILM NGO for synthesizing awareness among masses .
School staff who actively participated in the awareness program included Coordinator Bandana Sharma ,Activity Incharge Surekha Sharma and other teachers including Meenal Sadotra ,Geetanjali Handoo, Kailash Rani, Roopali Rajput , Vaishali Sharma , Shivani Kotwal ,Anirudh Sharma and Janvi Sharma .
