Shiv Sena Hindustan under the chairmanship of J&K President Pit Rajesh Kesari Sunday framed party’s unit at village Jindlarh of Block RS Pura in which Thodu Ram was made President, Kulwinder Kumar Vice President, Somnath treasurer, Swarn Kumar General Secretary, Rajan Kumar appointed Secretary of village Jindlarh unit. The new unit was garlanded with flowers by Vice President Balveer Kumar. Kesri while welcoming new entrants into party fold said that Shiv Sena Hindustan had been running a campaign against drugs for a year, for which we went from village to village and shared information with Police against those selling drugs to the people. He said his party organized awareness camps so that those who are hell-bent to destroy our younger generation can be put behind bars with the help of the police and locals because these people are spoiling the future of our young generation by intoxicating them, hence no one should maintain any kind of friendship with these people, even from the village.
Those who are involved in this heinous crime should be thrown out from the boundary of village. Drug sellers are enemies of the society and the country. Such people have no right to live in society as they deserve jail which is their real home .Kesri observed that It is the need of an hour that the pace of this drug abdication should be reduced.
In order to curb this problem the first and foremost step which the government of Jammu and Kashmir has to take is strict action against drug peddlers, opioid cultivators, and chemist shops that sell psychotropic medicines. Another important responsibility is of parents and teachers. Instead of scolding their wards who have become addicted to drugs, they have to deal with them with love and patience.
They should try to increase the morale and confidence of drug addicts that they can shun this vice. Parents should also consult professional interventionists to help find the real cause of stress and ways to manage it, added Kesri.Prominent among those present on the occasion include Captain Ghara Ram, Suresh Kumar, Balwant Fauji, Rajkumar Babaji, Rajesh Kumar, Darshani Devi, Rajni Devi, Neeru Devi besides others.
