UDHAMPUR, Aug 22:
Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) today conducted district level under-19 girls’ trials in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Tug of War at Subash Stadium, here.
“The selection trials held to raise district teams for the upcoming inter-district competitions as part of the annual calendar of activities,” district officer, Swarn Singh told SAN.
About 96 girls, drawn from 14 different government and private schools of the district, took part in the selection process.
The trials held under the supervision of technical penal including Raj Kumar Rishi, Rakesh Sawhney, Sunil Khajuria, Raman Gupta, PUshap Kumar, Kuldip Kumar, Manik Nargotra and Bikram Singh. Among other senior officers present were Santosh Kumari (ZPEO Udhampur) and Satish Kumar (ZPEO Babey).
