IQAC and cultural committee of GCOE Jammu organised the Inter – college Mehendi competition under the patronage of Dr.Jyoti Parihar, Principal of the college.
The program was organised to encourage students with artistic talent. The students applied mehndi and earned money also. Dr.Jyoti Parihar encouraged the students by saying that applying mehendi is a skill and it’s time for students to monetize their skills.
Dr. Shalini Rana IQAC converner applauded the huge participation of students of ITEP, B.ed, M.ed and other colleges.
Dr. Davinder kaur organized the event and talked about the rule of ethnic festivals in bringing joy, happiness and new vigor.
Later on best designs were rewarded by the committee. Simran choudhary, Aditi Sharma, Salma khatoon
Arti, Rishta sharma , shranya Sharma, Harshita sharma, sucharu sharma, Nandita and Taniya were the participants of the event.
The competition was adjudged by Ms.Ruchita Dutta from institute of music and fine arts Jammu.
