“The truth is that Congress and their allies can’t see Adivasis on top”: PM Modi
BOKARO, Nov 10:
Alleging that the Congress-JMM coalition wanted to divide OBCs by pitting sub-castes against each other, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday told an election rally in Jharkhand ‘ek rahoge toh safe rahoge’ (be united to be safe).
Addressing the rally in Bokaro, Modi claimed that till there was no unity between OBCs, tribals and Dalits, the Congress kept forming governments at the Centre.
“Beware of Congress-JMM’s evil designs and conspiracies. They can go to any extent to snatch power. Congress has been an opponent of SC, ST, and OBC unity since Independence. Till there was no unity, Congress kept forming governments at the Centre and looted the nation,” he said.
“More than 125 sub-castes are considered OBCs in the Chotanagpur region. Congress-JMM wants to break the OBC unity by pitting sub-castes against each other. I warn you ‘ek rahoge toh safe rahoge’,” he added.
The PM also attacked the Congress and its allies for seeking the reinstation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.Jammu tourism packages
“The Congress and its allies want to bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir so that our soldiers again face the fire of terrorism,” he said.
“Modi buried Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. For seven decades, Ambedkar’s Constitution was not in force there,” he said.
It was for the first time that the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir had taken oath in the name of the Indian Constitution and this was his tribute to Ambedkar, Modi said.
He said a BJP-led government was needed in Jharkhand to drive out infiltrators and eradicate corruption.
“You are hankering for a handful of sand, they are smuggling it,” the PM said, attacking the ruling JMM-led coalition in the state.
“Recruitment mafia and paper leak mafia created by the JMM-led coalition will be sent to jail and those who played with the future of the youth would not be spared,” he added.
Meanwhile , Launching scathing attack on opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said Congress and its allies “can’t see Adivasis on top,” and have kept Jharkhand backward.
.Addressing a rally in Gumla in run up to the Jharkhand Assembly election, PM Modi admired the talent diligence, honesty and leadership of tribals. “This is the reason that there are a lot of Adivasi ministers in the BJP government,” the PM said
He further reminded the public that Congress “tried its best” to not let tribal daughter Droupadi Murmu become the President of India, and still continues to insult her. The PM said former Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren was also insulted.
“We should not forget how Congress treated President Droupadi Murmu. Congress tried their best to not let ‘Adivasi beti’ win. Even today they don’t hesitate to disrespect the President. The truth is that Congress and their allies can’t see Adivasis on top. What happened with Champai Soren is an example of it,” PM Modi said.
“JMM-Congress kept Jharkhand backward. BJP made Jharkhand the centre of big schemes initiated for nation’s development,” PM Modi added
PM Modi further listed the schemes launched by the NDA government from Jharkhand, these schemes include Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana; The scheme facilitates micro credit/Loan up to Rs 10 lakhs to income generating micro enterprises, and Ayushman Bharat Yojana; the scheme aims to provide free access to health insurance coverage for low income earners.
“{We had launched ‘MUDRA yojana from Dumka not Delhi. We had launched Ayunshman Yojana that provided Rs 5 lakh for free treatment from Jharkhand,” PM Modi said.
“We have also started the free treatment of people above 70 year old. I want to assure you, If anyone from your family above 70-years of age, Your mother, father, grandfather if they need treatment, you don’t neeed to worry about that. Thier son is sitting in Delhi,” PM Modi further spoke about health insurance coverage to all senior citizens aged 70 and above.
PM Modi further stated that the NDA government started Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) scheme from the birthplace of famous tribal freedon fighter Birsa Munda.
“We started the PM Jan Man scheme from Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birthplace Ulihatu. This will benefit those tribes who have been neglected for years.”
PM Modi futher assured that BJP abide by the motto of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’. He alleged that Congress wants to “break” the unity of tribals, OBCs and Dalits.
“BJP-NDA government abide by the motto of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’. By following this path Jharkhand will develop. However Congress and JMM have some other intentions. Congress knows that where tribals, OBCs and Dalits got united they were finished from those states. Congress wants to break the unity of SCs, STs and OBCs community. The want to take away the reservation. If you’ll be divided in caste whether your powers recede or not. That’s why I say; Ek Rahenge toh safe rahenge,” PM Modi said.
