A Press Conference of J&K Employees Joint Action Committee ( R) was held at Jammu today under the Chairmanship of its State President Sh Babu Hussain Malik alongwith Kulwant Singh Sambyal, Amar Nath Thakur, Satish Dutta, Yahpal Sharma, Seva Ram Rathore, Anil Sing Salathia, Naresh Kumar, Vikas Chander, Vijay Sharma, Munish Sharma, and others to discuss the Pay Anomalies of the clerical cadre/amendment in SRO-333 and other issues of J&K State Government employees.
As threadbare discussion was also held related to different issues of the general employees.
The demands include; to change the Summer timing in all the offices of the state government in Jammu province from existing 10 am to 04.30 pm to 08. Am to 02.00 pm or 05 days working with holiday on Saturday for all the government offices situated Civil Secretariat in the interest of administration and common man.
Removal of Pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre/Amendment in SRO-333. Notionally benefits w.e.f 01/1996 and monetary w.e.f 02/2003 as per Hon’ble High Court Directions.
Restoration of two additional increments on clearing secretariat Assistant Examination Course which has been wrongly stopped during redressal of Clerical Pay Anomalies vide SRO-333 dated 02-08-2018. All the members in one voice appealed to the Hon’ble Governor to redress the genuine grievances of the employees at all level, otherwise employees will be forced to come on streets to get the genuine rights.
An appeal was also made to all the employees to assemble in front of Press Club, Jammu’s on 28-05-2019 to protest against the anti employees attitude of the government.
