Bharatiya Janata Party’s Ramban unit celebrated the Party’s Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and pomp and show here today.
The function was presided over by Ex MLA Neelam Langeh and attended by party workers, activists and residents of the area in large numbers.
While addressing the huge gathering on the occasion, Langeh highlighted the contribution of party in taking the country to unprecedented heights under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that BJP believes that while the party is bigger than the individual, at the same time nation is bigger than the party and asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party has been devotedly following this tradition till date.
Congratulating the party workers, activists and followers on the occasion, he said that BJP has emerged stronger due to the sacrifices of party workers right from the day of its formation. He said that the official ideology of the BJP is based on the principle of integral humanism, first formulated by Deendayal Upadhyay in 1965 and the same is being promoted by the party’s dedicated and hardworking cadre, the results of which need no elaboration. “It is a result of the Party’s ideological movement that more and more people especially the youth are becoming part of this movement by joining the party which they feel is a party with difference,” Langeh said.
Earlier leading the BJP workers’ Ramban team, the Ex-MLA Langeh hoisted the party flag amid thunderous claps by those present on the occasion followed by distribution of sweets to mark the celebration.
Later, Langeh along with party activists and workers visited the residence of Party’s Booth Presidents in Ramban where he fixed their name plates at their respective entrances. Party and National flags were also hoisted on the roof tops of the Booth Presidents across Ramban.
While concluding the function Langeh along with the party workers vowed to work relentlessly making all out efforts and taking the requisite measures to strengthen Party’s base in their respective areas.
