Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association consisting of BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF, and N.S.G while addressing a press conference Shashi Sharma President of the Association stated that all the members participated in large and a Hawan for the peace of the departed souls was arranged in the memories of the 40 CRPF Sheedhi who were killed by the Pak sponsored Militants at Pulwama on 14th of Feb 2019 while on its way to Kashmir Valley.
In the press conference the President of the Association has said during a meeting of CCS the Home Minister of India has said that status of the Martyr’s will be given to all BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF and N.S.G who had laid their lives for the integrity of the country like the Defence forces but till date no such status has been given and only it is in the press and Media that the status has been given them.
In the press conference the Shri S K Gupta Retired Dy. Commandant has appealed the all Director General’s of Para Military Forces to take up the matter with the Home Ministry GOI for giving the Sheedhi Status to BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF and N.S.G on the same pattern which has been adopted for the Defence Forces for which the General public of India too is demanding since long.
