In an unprecedented initiative, students from Army Public School, Rakhmuthi embarked on an exhilarating journey to the Line of Control, where they gained first-hand experience of military life. Indian Army officials educated the students on own deployment, enemy posts and various surveillance techniques. The thrill-seeking students enjoyed a joy ride in Indian army vehicles, navigating rugged terrain of forward area and also carried out Small Arms firing at the long range under supervision of Indian Army officials. The visit was aimed to foster patriotism, teamwork, and leadership skills among the students giving them an insight into the life of an Indian Army soldier.
