Farm Field School (FFS) Awareness programme was held at Village Dhanoo by Agriculture Deptt, Zone Tikri, Sub Division Udhampur.
The programme was held as per provisions of Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) – Rabi 2018-19 under supersision of Ajay Sharma, Agriculture Extension Officer Tikri zone.
Speaking on the occasion Ajay Sharma, AEO Tikri urged upon the farmers to boost productivity of their rabi season crops esp, wheat and mustard by fully adopting the package of practices.
He further asked the youth of area to adopt progressive farming as vocation and avail credit facilities through KCC .
Narinder Kumar Verma, JAEO gave detailed informtion on proper cultivation techniques for wheat and fodder crops.
Pankaj and Kamal Jit Singh (AEAs) also made the farmers aware about ideal crop factors and agronomic norms.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Balbir Singh, Manjeet Singh (AEAs) and Vinod Sharma Sarpanch of Dhanoo.
