Arvind Gupta, senior BJP leader and MLA West Constituency, today participated in a vibrant program organized by the Christian community to mark the joyous occasion of Christmas.
Addressing the gathering, Arvind Gupta extended warm greetings to the Christian community and highlighted the importance of festivals in fostering communal harmony and strengthening societal bonds.
“Christmas is not just a festival; it is a reminder of the values of love, compassion, and selfless service that Jesus Christ preached.
Let us all imbibe these values and work towards building a society rooted in peace and mutual respect,” he said.
The senior BJP leader also highlighted the symbolic significance of Santa Claus, drawing an inspiring analogy.
He urged the gathering to see their parents as the real-life Santas who fulfilled all their wishes and needs during childhood. “Santa Claus brings joy and gifts during Christmas, but our parents are the true Santas in our lives, tirelessly working to ensure our happiness and fulfilling our dreams when we were young. Now, it is our responsibility to care for them, respect them, and make their lives comfortable,” he said, striking an emotional chord with the audience.
Arvind also reiterated the Central Government’s initiatives under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote inclusivity and ensure that all communities feel an integral part of India’s growth story. “The BJP stands firmly with all communities and is dedicated to ensuring that every citizen has the opportunity to celebrate their traditions freely and joyfully,” he added.
The event concluded with the exchange of greetings and distribution of gifts among the children, bringing smiles to many faces.
