Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp held at Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre

Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, Ramakrishna Vihar, Udheywala, Jammu, successfully organised a Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The camp focused on heart health and oral health and hygiene, drawing a large response from the local community and reaffirming the Mission’s commitment to preventive and compassionate healthcare.
The camp was led by Dr. Neeraj Gupta, renowned cardiologist from Ascoms Avighna Heart Centre, along with eminent dentist Dr. Rakesh Raina, MDS (PhD), PG in Oral Implantology. They were supported by a dedicated team from the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College and Hospital, Amphalla, under the supervision of Dr. Manisha Koul, Registrar, Department of Public Health Dentistry, and Dr. Mayank Hali (BDS).
Free medical consultations were provided by specialists from multiple disciplines, including general medicine, orthopaedics, dentistry, gynaecology, ophthalmology, and physiotherapy, ensuring comprehensive healthcare services under one roof.
In addition, patients were offered free diagnostic tests such as ECG, neuropathy tests, uric acid tests, and blood sugar tests, enabling early detection and management of health issues.
A full body check-up package, including CBC, lipid profile, blood sugar, thyroid function test (TFT), liver function test (LFT), kidney function test (KFT), and Vitamin D assessment, was also made available at a highly subsidised rate of Rs 1200, against the original cost of Rs 2300, for fasting patients.
The camp was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests, including Pallavi Mishra, IAS, SDM Marh, and Raman Gupta, MD Pans and Pots, who appreciated the Mission’s efforts in extending quality healthcare to the community.
A total of 320 patients benefited from the services of 12 experienced doctors, reflecting the camp’s wide reach and positive impact.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Yajnadharananda Ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, reiterated the organisation’s dedication to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing that service to humanity is a form of divine worship.
