The Jammu College of Physiotherapy (JCP) has been at the forefront of providing community services. Continuing with this tradition, JCP organized a free Physiotherapy assessment camp at St. Xavier’s School, Barnai. The primary objective of the camp was to conduct general assessments, evaluate postures, and screen for posture-related issues among students.A dedicated team, comprising Dr. Akhil and Dr. Pooja, along with physiotherapy students, examined approximately 200 students for various posture-related musculoskeletal problems. Following the assessments, Dr. Akhil and Dr. Pooja delivered an informative lecture on the prevention and maintenance of musculoskeletal ailments, emphasizing the importance of proper posture in preventing such issues.Dr. Navinderpal Singh, Principal of JCP, commended the faculty and organizing team for successfully conducting such a significant camp. He expressed his gratitude to the Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Mr. Pankaj Vihans, for his support and permission to hold the camp on the school premises. Additionally, Dr. Singh praised the college management, especially Chairperson Suman Sharma, for their unwavering support in organizing such events.
