Gandhi Nagar police solved murder case; accused apprehended

On Jan 09, complainant namely Smt. Subash Kumari W/o Sudesh Gupta R/o Sector No. 4 Extn. Sanjay Nagar, Digiana Jammu (native village Bishnah) along with her son-in-law Sahil Gupta and other neighbors of Sanjay Nagar, Digiana registered a complaint at Police Post Digiana reporting therein that an unknown person(s) with mask on his face entered her house (residence of Subash Gupta) & murdered her husband namely Sudesh Gupta S/o Sh Mool Raj Gupta Age 67 Yrs and looted Rs 50,000/- cash from her house. On this, case FIR No. 08/2019 U/S 302/452/382 RPC was registered at PS Gandhi Nagar, investigation started and was entrusted to SI Kali Charan I/C PP Digiana. During the course of investigation all the different evidences were collected and analyzed by the team of officers led by the SDPO City South, Dr. Sunniya Wani and SHO P/S Gandhi Nagar, Insp. Sunil Singh Jasrotia. All these leads pointed towards the wife of the victim namely Subash Kumari (Age 64 yrs). During questioning she admitted that she had killed her husband by throttling him and she further admitted that she killed her paralytic husband as she got frustrated due to his continuous ailment and the expenses on his treatment. She further admitted that she had recently sold her residential house of Sanjay Nagar near Deva Palace to one Kulbir Singh S/o Amar Singh R/o Rajouri for Rs. 31,00,000/- and the expenses of treatment were taking heavy share of this amount.
