HimanshuShekhar, General Manager, Salal Power Station accompanied by Senior Officers of the Power Station had a surprise visit of Jyotipuram Colony to take an appraisal of the cleanliness of Jyotipuram Township. During his visit, Sh. Shekhar expressed satisfaction but he also passed instructions to the concerned Officers to personally supervise the cleanliness of the Township.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Shekhar said that Salal Power Station is well concerned about the cleanliness of the Township and has been taking up Cleanliness Drives from time to time to provide an aesthetic look to the Colony. However, he sought support of all the stake holders like Shopkeepers, employees and their family members to contribute in keeping Jyotipuram Township clean by using the dustbins and avoiding the use of Polythene.
Pertinent to mention that Salal Power Station underSwachh Bharat Mission has been taking up a number of Programmes from time to time to aware the masses about the sacred Mission. Under such Programmes, dustbins were installed in District Hospital Reasi, Court Premises, Village Vijaypur, VillageMaari besides conduct of cleanliness drives in adjoining areas of Jyotipuram.
