GGM Science College triumphed in the Volleyball (Men) Inter-College Tournament for the session 2024-2025, organized by the Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) at Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu. The final event was presided over by Dr. (Prof.) Naveen Anand, Dean Academic Affairs, CLUJ, as the Chief Guest, with Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director of Physical Education & Sports, CLUJ, as the Guest of Honor. The tournament was held under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi and Sh. Ravi Kumar, Physical Director, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce.Principal Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta warmly congratulated the GGM Science College team for their exceptional performance, praising their hard work and teamwork. He expressed confidence in their ability to continue excelling in future tournaments. Dr. Gupta also acknowledged the significant role of the Physical Director, commending their guidance and dedication in shaping the team’s success.
The tournament featured a thrilling opening match between Govt. SPMR College and Govt. MAM College, with Govt. MAM College winning 2-1. In the final, GGM Science College dominated Govt. MAM College with a decisive 3-0 victory, securing the coveted trophy. Key players from GGM Science College, including Mr. Rajat Sharma, Mr. Sudanshu Verma, and Mr. Jatin Raywal, stood out for their outstanding performances.
