GGM Science College Shines in HIV/AIDS Awareness Event wherein Gourav Sharma, a student of GGM Science College, showcased his athletic prowess by securing the 4th position in “The Red Run” marathon, a 5-kilometer event organized by the Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society (JKACS) at the University of Jammu. His commendable effort was rewarded with a consolation prize of ?1,000. The event was arranged by The Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society (JKACS) organized under “The Red Run,” a 5-kilometer marathon aimed at raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, at the University of Jammu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the region, including eight dedicated students from GGM Science College who were guided Dr. Seema Rani Minhas, Nodal Officer of the college’s Red Ribbon Club underoverll supervision of Prof (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the College. The girls’ team comprised Maithly, Rubby, Anjali Sharma, and Simran, while the boys’ team included Gourav Sharma, Suraj Kumar, Ayub, and Bilal Kohli. Principal Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta honored the college’s participants by distributing certificates, acknowledging their spirited participation and encouraging them to continue being ambassadors of progress and change. The students’ enthusiasm and commitment to the cause underlined the college’s dedication to promoting health and awareness in the community.
