JAMMU, July 18:
Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Ransoo, in collaboration with Dogri Bhasha Academy Jammu organised First Teachers Conference in memory of Late Harish Kumar Dubey (retired ZEO) with an aim to strengthen the Primary Education.
The activity was supervised by Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (Coordinator BEd Center (IGNOU) GHSS Ransoo) under the guidelines of Nirmal Choudhary (CEO Reasi) and Om Parkash Principal (DIET Reasi).
Former Joint Secretary of J&K State Sports Council (JKSSC) and Prabhari Sports BJP, Shiv Kumar Sharma was the chief guest while Prof. Ram Rattan Verma, Muzammal Coordinator Pratham was guest of honour.
Earlier, in his welcome address, president Dogri Bhasha Academy, Roshan Bral focussed on the life history of Harish Kumar Dubey and briefed about the objective of the Conference.
Around 80 in-service teachers from zones Reasi and Pouni, deputed for 12 days BEd workshop, attended the one- day Teachers Conference.
Prof Ram Rattan, Roshan Bral, Sanjeev Kumar Shama Muzammal ,Dharmpaul, Hem Raj,Gharru Ram, Sanjay Pandoh Kushal Dev were the main speakers who focussed on the dire need to streamline the primary Education through various innovations by inculcating latest pedagogies of teaching and learning to enhance child centeredness.
Shiv Kumar Sharma, who is also vice president of Indian Style wrestling Association of India and member State BJP Working Committee, lauded the efforts of teaching fraternity especially Sanjeev Kumar Sharma for taking serious note of rejuvenating the standards of Primary Education.

At the end all teachers including locals took part in the mass plantation drive in the premises of GHSS Ransoo.
