POONCH, July 14:
Glamorous Club made it a comprehensive 93 runs victory against Challengers Cricket Club to move into the next round of the ongoing District Cricket Tournament, organised by the J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sports Stadium, here today.
Earlier, batting first, Glamorous posted a target of 182 runs losing all their wickets in 35 overs. Babishan Sharma played fine innings to emerge as top scorer with 48 runs.
In reply, Challenger bowled out for 89 runs to lose the game by a big margin. Pawan Kumar claimed most of the five wickets to help the side take away the game.
Pawan was later adjudged man of the match. Today’s match officiated by the technical penal including Rajnish Maini and Gurmeet Singh.
The match was witnessed besides others by executive members of the JKCA district body, Imtiaz Khawaja, Imtiaz Salaria, Imran Mir and Kuljeet Singh.
