GOC Rising Star Corps Lt Gen JS Nain visited ‘Tiger Division’ on 09 and 10 April 2019 to review the operational preparedness of the forces in the Corps Zone. The Corps Commander exhalted the troops to be ever vigilant towards the external threats facing the country, as also compliment them for stellar duty being performed against all adds. During his visit, the Corps Commander interacted with the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Satya Pal Malik, Advisor to Governor Shri K. Vijay Kumar and Chief Secretary, Shri BVR Subrahmanyam. Issues ranging from the current security situation, external threats and upcoming elections in the state of J&K were discussed.
