The shooting of Dharma Productions’ next film Good News is in full swing with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar. As per the latest report in a daily, the cast of the film that also included Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani shot for a fun-filled Punjabi number.
The popular 90s song Sauda Khara Khara by Sukhbir has got its new version in Good News and the entire cast recently shot for the same in Mumbai. The modification in the song, which was originally picturised on Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea, has been made by DJ Chetas.
The composer talked to Mumbai Mirror and mentioned that it’s going to be one of the ‘biggest hits of the year’. The daily quoted him saying, “It was a dream come true to work with Akshay sir, Karan (Johar) sir and Kareena ma’am on a film. I can’t get into the details of the track, but I can promise that it will be one of the biggest hits of the year.”
Good News is being directed by debutant Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar. The premise of the film has Akshay and Kareena’s character as a senior couple who’s facing difficulty in having a baby. Diljit and Kiara, who play a young couple in the film, help them to conceive through IVF.
Kareena’s pictures from the sets in which she was seen carrying a pregnant belly went viral recently. The actress flaunted her fake belly on the sets of the film looking absolutely radiant.
Earlier, the film was slated to hit the screens on July 19 this year. However, the makers recently pushed the release date to September 6. Good News brings Akshay and Kareena back on screen after a hiatus of 12 years. The stars were last seen together in Kambakkht Ishq. Kareena though featured with Akshay in songs from his films Gabbar Is Back, Rowdy Rathore, and Brothers.
