Janak Raj Angural, Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank, being the Chief Guest inaugurated Guru Ram Dass Furniture House- a retail furniture house,located at village Sunder Nagar, Dablehar road, R.S.Pura.The unit is financed for Rs. 25 lakhs by branch office Dablehar, J&K Grameen Bank. Chairman said that the bank expects a fruitful journey ahead with the business unit which is owned by Virinder Kour. He said that the Bank should be pro-active in providing credit facilities to the budding entrepreneurs that will aid development and financial prosperity of the state.
Regional Manager, J&K Grameen Bank, R.K. Narangappreciated branch efforts for financing the activity of carved wood and artistic furniture making. He further appealed that bank’s lucrative financing schemes should be promoted among our state populace, the details of which are easily available at Bank’s revamped website www.jkgb.in.The various lending schemes of the Bank like Housing Loan ,Car Loan, Education Loan, Transport loan, Trade Loan, etc. were talked about for generating awareness among the present gathering. He also talked about ongoing Festival Bonanza scheme of the Bank launched on 11.10.2018 under which car loan is made available at lucrative 8.85 % and the scheme is valid till 30.11.2018.
Vipan Gupta, HOD (FIID, JKGB) said that J&K Grameen Bank in addition to its primary business of banking, has also forayed into insurance sector through tie-ups with insurance partners like LIC, Bajaj General,Bajaj Life, &Religare Health. He further said that various social security schemes like APY,PMSBY, PMJJBY and PMJDY accounts are available in the Bank. As such, he urged the gathering to enjoy their benefits and spread awareness among their peers.
Rashpal Chaudhary, Branch Head, Branch office Simbal More said that the Bank has tremendously progressed in providing digital services to its esteemed clientele. The Bank presently provides digital services like SMS banking, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, RUPAY cards and Direct Benefit Transfer, etc. to promote digital banking and move towards the less cash economy.
Besides above dignitaries of the Bank, Branch heads of branch offices Baspur, Simbal More, Badyal Brahmana, Kirpind, Satrayan camp, R.S. Pura& Dablehar were also present on the occasion.
