In a largely attended press conference by Presidents/general secretaries of all the branches of All J&K Shri Guru Ravidass sabha, Intellectuals/social activists and retired employees bodies ,Mr .M.L Banalia while addressing a press conference informed that it was decided in a meeting on 23rd Dec attended by all representatives of most of the branches of the sabha and members of the Ravidasia biradri ,it was unanimously decided that a grand shoba yatra shall be arranged on 17th of Feb (SUNDAY) at Jammu to celebrate 642nd Parkash Utsav of shree guru ravidass .he shoba yatra shall start from the head quarter of All J&K Shri Guru Ravidass Gurudawara Krishna Nagar Jammu and after passing through bazaar, it shall culminate at Shri Guru Ravidass Gurudwara Bahu Forte. The civil administration has been requested to give necessary permission for the same.
Similarly ,the main function of the Parkash Utsav shall be held on 19th Feb 2019 at Guru Dwara Krishna Nagar in addition to celebrations of the Parkash Utsav throughout the state by different Dist/The bodies.
Sh.Madan Lal Banalia (General Secretary) appealed to all sabhas, Biradri members, employees, retired employees ,women,children, young and old to participate in both the functions and make them a grand success.He also appealed to all the biradris of SC/ST/OBCs as well as people of general biradris to participate in the said functions to give it a secular look.The prominent biradri to participate in the said functions to give it a secular look. The prominent biradri members who participated in the press conference were: C.L Banal IPS Ashok Thappa ,Rattan Chand , Behari Lal,Dev Raj Attri ,Des Raj, Tara Chand Sambyal ,Romesh Kumar, Gian Chand, Sham Lal Kalsi, Suresh Kumar Madan Lal ,Ashok Kumar and Subhedar Bukhu Ram etc.
