Guru Vandan-Chhatra Abhinandan programme conducted

Jammu, Sept 23 :
Bharatiya Vikas Parishad Jammu East today conducted Guru Vandan-Chhatra Abhinandan programme in the premises of Environment Educational Institute, Jullaka Mohalla, Jammu. The program commenced with lightening of traditional lamp by Priya Sethi former Minister & Spokesperson BJP who was chief guest on this occasion accompanied by Arun Sharma, Regional Secretary, Amita Sharma, State President, Anil Sharma, Branch President, Ved Parkash Padha, Branch Secretary, Er. Gopal Sharma, State Organizing Secretary, Usha Anand, Principal of the institution. Children of the institution presented Saraswati Vandana which was followed by Vande Mataram.
In this program, nine reputed educational institutions were honoured in this program as per Gurukul parampara. It was also informed that this program is conducted every year by BVP State as well as Nationwide in which more than 10 lac children participate throughout the country to inculcate Sanskars and develop cordial relationship between Teachers, students and their parents. The students garlanded and performed Aarti vandana followed by charan sparash of their respective teachers. In turn teachers blessed their students for their bright and successful career ahead.
Speaking on this occasion, Priya Sethi appreciated the role of Bharat Vikas Parishad in Nation building which conduct a number of programs under it’s mega project Sanskars throughout the year which are keeping the youth connected with Indian culture and civilization and also playing major role in inculcating patriotism among youth. Er. Gopal Sharma narrated the importance of this program and also briefed the participants regarding various objectives and projects of Social and non political social organization BVP and also gave titbits of success to children. Earlier Anil Sharma welcomed be the invitees and children. Usha Anand, Principal gave it’s blessings to all the teachers and students and narrated the preachings of various ancient gurus and asked to follow father footsteps and laid thrust on imparting moral values based education. About 150 children took the oath to make J&K free from polythene, drugs and to join hands to Save Water.
Other than host school which participated in this event were S.D Kanya Vidhyalaya, Jullaka Mohalla, JK Public School, S.M Jain Hr. Sec School, Oriental Academy, Luthra Hr. Sec School, Tiny Tots Hr Sec School, Alexander Memorial school, DBN Hr Sec School, Jammu.
All the best students and teachers of various institutions were given trophies and certificates. The program concluded with National Anthem.
Prominent among others who were also present on this occasion were Ved Parkash Padha, Rakesh Gupta, Kushal Kumar, Dr. S.M Anand, Jyotsna Sharma, Nandini Shukla, Ravinder Thakur and many others besides teachers, students from various schools and citizens from all walks of life.
The proceedings of the whole program were carried out by Mrs Jyotsna Sharma.
