Air Vice Marshal S K Jha, along with a group of officers undertaking 43rd Higher Air Command Course (HACC), on Friday met Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here, an official spokesman said. During his interaction with the officers, Malik lauded valour of the armed forces in securing borders of the country and their invaluable support to civil administration, the spokesman said. The 19 officers also met Jammu IGP Mukesh Singh here, and they were briefed about the development in the region post abrogation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir, and the steps taken to maintain law and order. He talked about the challenges being faced by police and security forces in view of militancy, crime and law and order front, the spokesman said.
