The auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor at the Hanuman Mandir (Basuki Nag Dham) in Maali (Plakh). Devotees thronged the temple premises in large numbers, offering Laddu, sweets, fruits, and other offerings to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman for the fulfillment of their wishes.
A special Sundarkand Path was organized by Pt. Krishan Shastri, during which scores of devotees gathered to sing Hanuman Stuti in unison. The collective prayers and devotion filled the temple premises with an atmosphere of spiritual serenity and divine energy.
Col. Mahan Singh (Retd), DDC Chairman, also took part in the Puja ceremony, offering his prayers for the well-being of the community.
While addressing the gathering of devotees, Col. Singh spoke with great reverence about the immense significance of Lord Hanuman, describing him as Rudraavtar, an incarnation of Lord Shiva who embodies unparalleled strength and devotion. He emphasized that Lord Hanuman’s divine power is not only capable of ridding us of our enemies but also protecting us from all forms of evil and misfortune. His divine abilities extend to healing ailments and providing relief from suffering, making him a symbol of hope and resilience for all.
Col. Singh further highlighted that Hanuman’s unwavering devotion to Lord Rama, combined with his extraordinary strength, make him the ultimate conqueror of all adversities. His dedication and selfless service are a reminder that, through faith and perseverance, we can overcome the greatest of challenges and emerge victorious in the face of hardships.
As a token of the divine blessings, Aarti Parshad was distributed to all those present at the temple. The picturesque location of the Hanuman Mandir added to the sacred atmosphere, enhancing the experience of chanting mantras and prayers amidst the tranquil surroundings.
The celebration was a testament to the deep-rooted faith and devotion of the community, reinforcing the importance of Lord Hanuman’s blessings in overcoming life’s challenges.
