Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has been garnering eyeballs ever since its teaser was unveiled with an interesting ensemble cast of Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, among others. From Sanjay Leela Bhansali making his web-series debut to the grandeur of this Netflix web-series, everything about the show has piqued interest and after its premiere, many of them raved the performances of the actresses including that of Sonakshi.Sonakshi Sinha essayed the character of the complex Fareedan who shares a murky past with Heeramandi and with the queen of the Shahi Mahal, Mallikajaan. Despite the show being primarily focused on courtesans and is also peppered with a few bold scenes, Sonakshi, we hear continued with her clause of no-kissing and no-intimate scenes. The actress has asserted that she would be retaining the same even in the future for her other upcoming projects.Addressing it during an interview with ETImes, Sonakshi Sinha said, “I’m on my 35th film now and I still stand there! A good actor will always get work. In my entire career, I don’t think I have lost out on anything that has had a kissing scene or intimate scene.” Speaking of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, the show is currently streaming on Netflix.
