Global Sampark Youth club, Helpline Humanity and Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu was organized three days Block level Sports Tournament at Jagti Township. The 50 teams in different games( Kho-Kho, Kabaddi Volley Ball, athletics and Cycling ) have been participated in this tournament.
In 1st semi final Sai youth club defeated the Govt Higher Secondary Migrants school Jagti by 3-2 (23-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-20 and 25-19 Sai team lost first two sets by 23-25,21-25 and bounced back with superb performances and won next three sets by 25-22,25-20 and 25-19 with the sai team won the match by 3-2 sets they will now face the Helpline Humanity team in next match.
In 2nd semi final Helpline Humanity Youth club defeated the Global Sampark Youth club by 3-1(25-17, 22-25, 25-21 and 25-16) helpline Humanity face the in final Sai youth club Helpline Humanity defected the Sai youth club by 3-1 set and Helpline Humanity Youth club lift the volley ball title Meanwhile in cycling 1 Kilometre competition for girls Himanshi Roshan Bhat bagged first position, Komal Pandita won second sport and the third place went to sheenu raina In Kabaddi the Nagrota Team defected the Jagti team and Hee maa Public school team defected the laxmi club by 3-2 .
In another Match Shanti Niketan Education Institute show superb performance and won the match by 3-1 sets they will now face the HEE MAA public school team.
Ist Round The Kho-Kho matches was won by sunshine school team,Shanti Niktan school, Heemaa school and defected the Jagti Team, Helpline Humanity team and Nagrota
On the occasion The Chief Guest was Sh Mubarak Gul MLA and Ex Political Advisor Hon’ble Chief Minister. On the occasion He addressed the function and appreciated the organization to organize the sports tournament and promised the all possible help near future and said the sports has very important role to play in the society and channelizing their energy in a positive direction to them also assured the organizers that he will provide financial assistance from his constituency Development Fund to uplift migrant youth in sports and games.
