“Himalayan Heritage Museum Celebrates World Heritage Day”

JAMMU, APR 18:
Himalayan Heritage Museum (H.H.M) celebrated World Heritage Day on 18 Apr, 2018. In the premises of Museum at Talab Tillo, Jammu, from 9 a.m. to 1. p.m.. The activities performed during the celebration include display of Antique objects, Manuscript and other objects related to heritage.
A grand function was held which was presided over by Sh. R.K. Vaid (K.A.S.) Dy. Secretary to Govt. Department of Culture (J&K) was Chief Guest and released the Heritage brochure of “Himalayan Heritage Museum”. The brochure disputes the importance of heritage. Tsering Tashi. Dy. Dir. Archives, Archaeology & Museum, Jammu Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn Additional Secretary Culture academy, Jammu, S.M Sawhney ( INTACH), Sardar Gopal Singh, President HHM, Th. Krishan Singh, Secretary HHM and a large no. of students visited the museum.
In his presidential address, R.K. Vaid highlighted the importance of heritage and encouraged Sr. Inder Singh Chairman, H.H.M for collecting the Antique heritage.
