A Special Police Officer (SPO) in Jammu and Kashmir went missing on Wednesday morning with an AK-47 rifle.
Security forces have launched an operation to nab SPO Irfan Ahmad Dar. He went missing soon after leaving from Pampore police station.
Meanwhile, Hizbul-Mujahideen has claimed that SPO who fled with AK-47 rifle, has joined their ranks.
Earlier in the day, security forces arrested four overground workers of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit from Sopore area.
Acting on a specific information, police and CRPF laid a joint cordon at fruit mandi crossing in Sopore on Tuesday evening and arrested four OGWs of proscribed terror outfit JeM, a police spokesman said.
