In the much awaited finals of POWERGRID Inter regional Cricket tournament 2024 hosts Northern Region-II(NR-II) will clash with Corporate Centre (CC) at MA Stadium tomorrow.It was yet another day of fascinating cricket that was witnessed on the fourth day of the POWERGRID Inter Regional Cricket Tournament 2024. Teams fought to their level best to achieve the honours and reach the finals of the tournament. Today two highly fascinating semifinals were played , one each at University Grounds and MA Stadium.In the first Semifinal played at University Grounds , Hosts northern Region-II(NR-II) defeated ER-II by 8 wickets .Batting first ER-II were bundled out for 86 in 16.3 overs which NR-II easily chased in 15 overs losing only 2 wickets. Saurabh Shukla ofNR-II who took four wickets giving away just 9 runs in two overs was declared man of the match.In another hard fought semifinal at MA Stadium CC defeated NR-I by 27 runs .Batting first CC Scored 137 for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In response to this, NR-I could score only 110 runs in their 20 overs for loss of 8 wickets. AbhisarVishnoiof CC who scored three wickets was declared man of the match.
