Hrithik Roshan made an impactful debut with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai that went on to become one of the record-breaking successes of Indian Cinema with its songs being celebrated as chartbusters even today. However, the film faced multiple challenges including the leading lady being replaced from Kareena Kapoor Khan to Ameesha Patel. As the film completed 25 years this year, Patel revealed that it wasn’t an easy journey, recalling the time when the shoot was delayed for six months. Insisting how it wasn’t all a bed of roses for them while shooting Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Ameesha Patel revealed how Hrithik Roshan sustained injuries on his back and was asked to remain out of action for almost half a year.   Further, sharing about her own injuries which she suffered while shooting a particular climax sequence, Patel added,  When we came back on set to reshoot the remaining portions of the climax, I got a bullet. I had the presence of mind and turned my face, otherwise that bullet shot would have been in my eye and I would have been blinded. I got the bullet to my back and I had a charred hole there. They rushed me in the night to the doctor. Oh! We’ve had quite a journey”.Starring Hrithik Roshan in a dual role and also marking the film debut of Ameesha Patel, the film featured an ensemble supporting cast that included Anupam Kher, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mohnish Bahl, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, among others.
