The High School Sathra won the under-17 boys’ Kabaddi title outplaying HS Saloonia by five points in the final of the inter-school competitions of Zone Sathra in district Poonch.
Earlier, in the semifinals, High School Saloonia outplayed High School Biala by 10 points while HS Sathra outplayed H S Fatehpur by 11 points.
However, the under-14 final won by High School Saloonia beating Government Middle School by two points.
The girls’ under-14 title went to GMS Chakrara outplaying GMS Kulani by three points.
HSS Mandi bags U-17 boys’ title
Meanwhile, in Mandi Zone, HSS Mandi bagged the boys’ under-17 Kabaddi title outplaying HSS Loran by two points. Semifinals: HSS Loran beat HS Palera by four points.
The under-14 final won by GMS Brachar beating MS Mandi by two points. Semifinal: GMS Mandi beat GMS Sawjian by five points.
The technical panel comprised Vikas Sharma, Sunil Raina, Rajnish Maini, Shabir (all PETs), Manjit Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Lovinder Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Amresh Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Narinder Singh (all PEMs).
