POONCH, Sept 24:
Higher Secondary School Mandi and High School Sathra bagged the under-19 and under-14 girls Kho-Kho titles respectively in the Khelo India competitions of Block Mandi in district Rajouri being held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS). In the under-19 final, HSS Mandi defeated High School Fateshpur 15-03. Similarly, in under-14 category, High School Sathra trounced Middle School Mandi 10-06. Earlier, the competition declared open by Tehsildar Mandi, Zahir Ahmed Rana, who was the chief guest. Also present were Vice Principal of HSS Boys Mandi, Mohd Aziz, Station House Officer, Zonal Education Officer Mandi, Ghulam Hussain, Headmaster Bilal Mir Mohd, Anil Sharma and other officials of the DYSS.
The Kho-Kho competition officiated by the technical penal comprising Jatinderpaul Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Harmik Singh, Pushpavati and Gurvinder Singh.
