She had taken out a loan of Rs 2.5 crores to buy a house but ended up losing everything. During this challenging period, she was left with no place to stay and resorted to living in her car. The stress of the situation led to depression, further complicating her struggles. In 2013, 2014, and 2018, Rashami Desai was among India’s highest-paid TV actresses. She was also the highest-paid contestant on Bigg Boss 13 and Bigg Boss 15. In 2020, she became the first Indian TV actor to collaborate with Google for cameos and ranked 22nd on BizAsia’s top 30 TV Personalities list.
