IAF trainer aircraft crashes in Telangana, pilot escapes with minor injuries

Hyderabad, November 28
A Kiran trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed soon after takeoff from the Hakimpet Air Force Station. The pilot ejected safely and has been rescued.
The plane crashed in the Rachakonda Police jurisdiction in Ranga Reddy district.
The aircraft, which took off from Hakimpet Air Force Station, crashed in an open area at around 11.45 am and the flying cadet escaped with minor injuries on his leg.
On November 21, a training aircraft of the city-based Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy crashed into an agriculture field in Mokila area near here resulting in minor injuries to the trainee pilot.
