On the directions of District Child Protection Officer who is also holding an additional charge of Programne Officer ICDS Kishtwar, Mr. Tariq Parvez Qazi (KAS), a poster distribution derive on ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ was conducted on prominent places/ routes of Kishtwar town by Protection Officer (Non Institutional Care , DCPU ICPS) Kishtwar ‚ Mr. Touseef Iqbal Butt, Legal cum Probationary Officer ICPS Miss. Basharat Nazir and District Coordinators of Mahila Shakti Kendra Miss. Hina Jaan and Shanu Rani.
During the derive, the local public on different prominent routes/places of Kishtwar town including Dak Banglow, Bus stand ,Parade ground, District Court Complex,Auto stand,Medical shops and drivers of several passenger vehicles were sensitized on Swach Bharat Mission,besides pasted posters on passenger vehicles and distributed posters among the general masses and asked them to keep themselves and their surrounding neat and clean as the Coronavirus is spreading fastly across the globe.
Meanwhile, the pedesters on road side were also awared about the Coronavirus and cleanliness and avoiding the mass gathering on the said programme as keeping in mind the 144 section for precautionary measures imposed by Worthy Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to prevent COVID-19.
The programme were aimed at intensifying awareness generation on the importance of Swachhta Pakwadha which aims at making the society Clean and safe from germs and other viruses and changing the mindset of the common masses about taking an initative to work for cleanliness of neighborhood and surroundings.
