Indian Dental Association (IDA) Jammu today organised a dental check up camp at SPS International School, Chowadhi, Jammu. In total 59 students were examined and given oral hygiene kits which include Colgate toothpastes and toothbrushes. Dr.Himja Mengi and Dr.Vibha Raina examined the students and delivered a presentation on maintenance of oral hygiene. They also demonstrated the proper toothbrushing techniques.
Principal of the school, Ankush and coordinator Sunny Raina, were also present on the occasion.
Dr.Gautam Sharma, President of IDA Jammu, informed that schools can contact him on 7006672655 if they want to conduct free dental check-up camp for students of their school. He said that oral hygiene maintenance shall be taught at an early age to the children so that they can be protected from various oro-dental health problems throughout their life.
Sumeet Gandotra provided free Colgate kits for the school children.
