IDPS Akhnoor celebrated Diwali with an enthusiastic spirit, featuring a variety of engaging activities that brought together students, educators, and parents in a festive atmosphere.The celebrations included an inter-house Rangoli-making competition and an inter-house dance and act competition, both showcasing the immense talent and creativity of students from four houses: Trojans, Spartans, Samurai, and Knights.
The inter-house dance and act competition was expertly judged by Ms. Anchal Gupta and Ms. Rajni Sharma. The results were as follows:
1st Place: Knights
2nd Place: Trojans
3rd Place: Samurai
4th Place: Spartans
In the Rangoli-making competition, judged by Ms. Seema Bhagat, the Art and Craft teacher, along with Ms. Pooja Devi, the results were:

The event also featured an inspiring speech by Ms. Mehak Devi, House Captain of the Samurai, and was anchored by Head Girl Ms. Sharanya and Master Aryan Khan, the school ambassador. A heartfelt poem on the life of Shri Ram was recited by Master Prathamesh Thakyal, and Mr. Gurdeep Singh, accompanied by young IDPians, presented a soulful bhajan.The celebration was graced by esteemed guests, including Mr. Dheeraj Jamwal Sharma, Managing Director; Dr. K.C.S. Mehta, Principal; Mr. Vinay Khajuria, Vice Principal; Headmistress Ms. Anchal Gupta; Senior Coordinator Ms. Rajni Sharma; CCA Coordinator Ms. Pooja Devi; and members of the Parents Association. Their presence added to the festive spirit of the occasion.The Diwali celebration at IDPS Akhnoor not only highlighted the joy of the festival but also reinforced values of community, creativity, and cultural appreciation among students.
