Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party who represented the people in J&K Assembly and the State Council for nearly 15 years urged the President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind for his intervention vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir. NPP Supremo demanded immediate dissolution of J&K Govt. and imposition of Governor Rule which is the only way out to save the state of J&K from further death and destruction and save the national interest in the State of J&K where the innocent people in the state have been suffering for years for the reason that there have been no governance in the State of J&K as the people on the whole have not accepted the present leadership of PDP-BJP.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that the Constitution of J&K in its Section 92 as well as the Constitution of India in Article 370 it is the President of India alone who has been vested authority to intervene in such a situation. The Governor of J&K on the advice of the President of India can dismiss the present Govt., invoke Governor Rule in the state and dismiss the present State Assembly. This is the only way to save further bloodshed in the state.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that whatever has been happening in Kashmir; arrests, killings, murders, clashes, street clashes, closure of all government institutions as well as educational centres like schools, colleges and universities has caused irreparable damage to the people as well as to the democratic norms in the state. Prof.Bhim Singh said that reorganization of J&K by setting up a confederation of three units, Ladakh, Kashmir Valley as well as Jammu Pradesh shall be the only solution to ensure peace in the entire state.
