Indefinite Chain Hunger Strike of Teachers’ Joint Action Committee enter in Day 23

The on going indefinite Chain Hunger Strike Of Teachers’ joint Action Committee ( TJAC)at Press Club Jammu on today entered into 23rd consecutive day whereas it entered 19th consecutive day at Srinagar.
The hunger strike at Jammu on 23rd Day was organized under the leadership of State President JKRTTF Vinod Sharma, State Chief Coordinator JKRTTF Sukhdev Singh Sumbria , Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal and District President Doda Sajad Malik .
A large number of teachers on the occasion also held a strong sit in protest demonstration on the 23rd day against the callous and step motherly treatment of the government towards 41000 ReT teachers and masters who have been deprived of 7th Pay Commission till date and their salaries have not been linked with the state budget thereby forcing the teachers to come on roads.
The teachers who sat on 24 hour fast today morning include :Rashpal Singh, Gulzar Ahmed, Muzattir Hussain, Babu Ram, Om Singh, kewal Singh, Din Mohd, Mohd sultan, Mohd Ramjan, Masood Hussain, shabir Ahmed, Ashraf natnoo, Ashiq Dar, Narinder Singh, partap singh,Speel Singh,swami raj,Anaytullah
While addressing the gathering at Jammu Mr Vinod Sharma said that complete silence of the government towards the issues of 41000 ReT teachers and masters has put these teachers in mental trauma. He further said that these teachers are unable to provide proper facilities to their families including proper food and clothing to their children and required medicines to their ailing parents.
He appealed the governor administration to break the silence and intervene in this regard and issue order regarding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in their favour without any further delay to save the families of these teachers from any more suffering .
