In an unwavering pursuit to enhance the skills of the youth in remote villages, the Indian Army has launched ‘Computer Training’ program at Dharmari, Reasi District. This initiative, spanning from 18 May 2024 to 01 Jun 2024, is designed to impart fundamental computer skills to the youth, fostering economic independence and societal contribution. The program has successfully engaged nearly ‘25 enthusiastic youths’ from Dharmari and its vicinity. The participants have shown an overwhelming response, demonstrating keen interest in acquiring new skills that promise a brighter future. A participant confidently stated, ‘The Computer Training imparted has come as a great boon for us to acquire fundamental knowledge of computers’. Upon the successful completion of the program, the Indian Army will provided guidance and encouragement to the participants, inspiring them to embark on their own ventures. The local Sarpanches have expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army’s efforts to empower the youth and have advocated for the continuation of such skill development initiatives. The Indian Army remains committed to the empowerment of youth and the upliftment of remote communities through education and skill development.
