In a significant step towards empowering the youth in the remote border villages of Lam, Laroka, Qila Darhal, Bhowani of Rajouri, the Indian Army has launched coaching classes aimed at preparing students for Sainik and military Schools entrance examinations. This initiative, which started on October 8 2024, is designed to equip aspiring students with the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in the armed forces. For these classes a total of 32 students have been selected for the coaching program. The Sainik & Military Schools, established to prepare students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other military institutions, play a crucial role in fostering leadership qualities and discipline among young minds.
